Pristine Mountain Morgans is offering this beautiful filly for sale, Pristine Edelweiss! She is sired from our smokey black stud, Raspberry Jake Walker (aka Storm), and out of our gorgeous palomino mare, TVR The Lily Flower! I’m expecting her to mature quite tall for a Morgan, as she was tall at birth and now taking the string test measurement it predicts her being 16 hands or taller, but time will tell. She was born May 26th 2026. Edelweiss is always easy to catch, very friendly, gentle to handle. She has been haltered several times, and has had some training for leading since birth, but will get more halter training in the next few weeks or before being sold and taken to a new home. Edelweiss has also had her feet handled and is good with that. She has been loaded in a trailer and has trailered long distance a couple of times. Her sire, Storm, has a good solid build, excellent feet, western working bloodlines, and has been smart and easy to train. Lily is a beautiful mare, very good keeper, straight legs, and has been very calm and sensible for any training she’s had. All of our horses spend the spring, summer and falls out on open range in the mountains, so our foals are well accustomed to creeks, swamps, thick bush country, and surviving on the wild grasses. Edelweiss is one of 7 foals that we raised up this year, which I’ll have ads made for all those that are still available, so check out my other ads to have your pick! She is not yet weaned, but could be soon if someone is wanting to take her right away. Our foals are located near Vanderhoof BC, but we can also deliver for a reasonable cost.
