Senior Butcher Meat Portion Cutter job in Mississauga * Must read job description
Pay rate $24-$27/hr
Morning Shift
Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:

· • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters of meat into standard cuts
· • Trim, debone, and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer and company specifications
· • Grind meats and prepare specialty orders as needed
· • Create visually appealing displays of meat products
· • Shape, lace, and tie roasts and other specialty cuts
· • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the work area
· • Lead and coordinate daily workflow and order fulfillment
· • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

Requirements:

· • Minimum 20 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing food processing environment
· • Proven expertise in meat cutting, including knife and band saw techniques
· • Strong knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control standards
· • Exceptional hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
· • Ability to maintain steadiness and precision with hand and arm movements
· • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform close-range work
· • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
· • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
· • Capable of handling and lifting heavy loads safely
