Job Summary:

We are looking for a customer-oriented Counter Staff to join our Calgary location. The ideal candidate will assist customers at the front counter, process orders, manage inventory, and provide excellent service to contractors, technicians, and the general public.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently using the POS system.
- Provide product information and recommendations based on customer needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, restocking shelves as needed.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions securely.
- Assist with shipping and receiving of products.
- Keep the counter and workspace clean and organized.
- Work closely with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in retail, counter sales, or customer service is an asset.
- Knowledge of appliance parts and supplies (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving products as needed.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
