Requirements:
• 5 years working in the industry
• Minimum 3 crew members
• Generic truck and equipment (no company logos)
• Working At Heights and WHMIS certifications
• HST number
• First Aid is an asset
Primary Responsibilities:
• Roofing crew works independently, managing all aspects of on-site work
• Reliable, organized and punctual with all aspects of on-site work
• Available to work some weekend projects when required
• Removal and installation of various roofing materials
• Maintain a safe working environment for the team and yourself
Qualifications:
• 5 years experience with a variety of roofing systems
• Skills to install and remove various roofing systems (metal roofs, shingle systems etc)
• Confident and skilled using all types of hand tools
• Experience with commercial and industrial projects
• Comfortable working at heights
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferable
• Knowledge of general construction methods and practices (codes etc…)
• Mechanically inclined, familiarity with hand tools and construction equipment an asset
• Aluminium experience an asset
• First aid, Working at Heights and WHMIS certifications
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with our team members and customers
