Job Duties:
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, specializing in South Indian, East Indian, and Indo-Chinese fusion.
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, and estimate food requirements and costs.
Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure safety and hygiene standards.
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Clean kitchen and work areas.
Requirements:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in professional Indian/Fusion cooking.
Specialized Knowledge: Proficiency in preparing fermented items (Dosas/Utthapams), biryanis, and Indo-Chinese fusion dishes (Manchurian).
Certificates: Safe Food Handling Certificate (preferred).
