Rennie Equipment Inc. is looking for a skilled, dependable, and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team.

We are seeking individuals who take pride in their workmanship, have a strong work ethic, and can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, fitting, assembling, and welding structural and custom steel components according to shop drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and accurately interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications.
- Fabricate, fit, tack, weld, and finish structural and custom steel components.
- Safely operate overhead cranes and perform proper rigging and load handling.
- Operate power tools, fabrication machinery, and shop equipment.
- Use precision measuring tools, including tape measures, squares, and calipers.
- Ensure completed work meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of welding/fabrication experience required.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Experience operating overhead cranes and knowledge of safe rigging practices.
- Proficient in the use of welding equipment, power tools, and fabrication machinery.
- Must have personal Welder/Fabricator tools required for the position.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, motivated, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
- Valid driver's licence required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
