We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to help expand our client base and develop new business opportunities.
Position Overview
The Business Development Intern will play an important role in identifying potential clients, establishing business relationships, generating new leads, and promoting our legal process serving services.
This opportunity is ideal for someone interested in sales, marketing, business development, and the Canadian legal services industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and research potential clients, including law firms, lawyers, paralegals, legal departments, collection agencies, and corporate organizations.
• Develop and maintain a database of prospective clients and business contacts.
• Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new business opportunities.
• Introduce and promote Orbit Process Solutions Inc.'s legal process serving services.
• Develop relationships with law firms, legal professionals, and other potential referral partners.
• Follow up with prospective clients and convert leads into business opportunities.
• Assist in preparing marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and business development strategies.
• Identify opportunities to expand services into new geographical markets across Canada.
• Maintain client communication records and provide regular business development updates.
• Assist management with other sales and marketing initiatives as required.
Qualifications and Skills
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting professional email communications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and CRM tools.
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is an asset.
• Interest in the Canadian legal services industry is an advantage.
