Description
FULL TIME
Beer Packaging Operators
$20.00/hour
At GP Brewing Co., we're a locally owned and operated beverage manufacturing facility that's been producing high-quality, crushable, affordable beer since 2016. Along the way, we've expanded into spirits and ready-to-drink beverages, but one thing hasn't changed. We care about making great products with great people.
We're a brewery, so yes, we like to have a good time. But behind every can and bottle is a busy manufacturing operation producing thousands of cases of product for customers across multiple provinces.
We believe that if you can do it better, you should.
What does the job look like?
We're hiring Team Members for both our Beer Packaging and Vodka Packaging departments. While the equipment and processes are different, both roles are hands-on, team-oriented, and focused on producing quality products efficiently.
Beer Packaging: Work alongside your team on an automated canning line, operating and monitoring equipment, checking product quality, packing finished cans, and preparing cases for shipment. You'll learn how the equipment works, keep an eye on the details, and help keep production moving.
Job Role and Duties:
-Operating, monitoring, and working with packaging equipment
-Performing quality checks throughout production
-Packing, stacking, and preparing finished products
-Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
-Working together to meet production targets
-Learning different stations and stepping in wherever needed
There's something pretty satisfying about seeing pallets of finished product at the end of a shift and knowing you helped make it happen. You can actually see the results of a job well done.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This is a manufacturing job, not a taproom job, that involves repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing on concrete, bending, kneeling, and repetitive movements.
Our facilities can be hot, cold, wet, and noisy. You'll work around moving equipment, pressurized systems, hot water, steam, and cleaning chemicals. Appropriate PPE is and full training are provided.
Who succeeds here?
We're not looking for the fanciest resume. We're looking for good people who:
-Show up on time, ready to work
-Take pride in quality and getting the job done right
-Enjoy hands-on, physical work
-Are willing to learn, cross-train, and help wherever needed
-Bring a positive attitude and can have a laugh while getting things done
What we offer:
-BEER!
-Full-time, Monday to Friday
-Health benefits after 90 days
-Retail perks after 30 days
-Opportunities to learn new equipment, skills, and processes
-Opportunities for advancement as we continue to grow
-A team that works hard, supports one another, and knows how to have a good time
Requirements:
-Must be 18 years of age or older
-Full-time availability with flexibility as production demands require
-Reliable and punctual attendance
-Strong English comprehension, including the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
-Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
-Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
-Willingness to follow safety procedures, quality standards, and production instructions
Sound like your kind of place?
If you like staying busy, working with your hands, and heading home knowing exactly what you accomplished, we'd love to hear from you.
