Legal Internship Opportunity – Criminal & Family Law

Kazandji Law is seeking a motivated intern interested in gaining practical experience in criminal defence and family law at our Thornhill office.

You will work alongside our lawyers and assist with legal research, drafting, document review, and file preparation.

Responsibilities:

Research criminal and family law issues.

Assist with drafting correspondence and preparing court materials under lawyer supervision.

Organize disclosure, financial records, and client documents.

Prepare file summaries, chronologies, and research memoranda.

Assist with preparation for conferences, motions, hearings, and trials.

Support client intake and file administration.

Ideal Candidate:

A law student, NCA candidate, or recent law graduate.

Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.

An interest in criminal defence and family law.

Professional, reliable, and attentive to detail.

Able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Outlook; familiarity with Clio or DivorceMate is an asset.
