Project: ADX Studio Modernization Project
Openings: 2 Positions Available
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote within Canada (Occasional onsite meetings in Edmonton, AB, if required)
Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:15 AM–4:30 PM MT (36.25 paid hours/week)
Maximum Agency Bill Rate: CAD $80.00 – $90.00 / hour (Inclusive of agency fees and overhead)

Position Overview

We are seeking two (2) experienced Full Stack Developers / Power Pages Migration Specialists to modernize legacy Adxstudio Portals and successfully migrate them to Microsoft Power Pages using Dataverse and the Enhanced Data Model.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy: Analyze legacy Adxstudio portal architecture and develop robust migration paths.
• Migration: Shift Adxstudio Portals over to Microsoft Power Pages.
• Code Conversion: Convert legacy .NET/C# logic into modern Liquid templates and custom JavaScript.
• AI Tooling: Utilize Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot to accelerate code conversion and troubleshooting.
• Data Handling: Migrate portal data utilizing Power Platform CLI and Dataverse tools.
• Modernization: Overhaul entity forms, web forms, lists, and multistep forms.
• Integrations: Maintain critical integrations with SharePoint, payment gateways, and authentication providers.
• Security: Configure secure Dataverse table permissions and web roles.
• QA & Docs: Handle end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and technical documentation.

Mandatory Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must clearly demonstrate the following on their résumé:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-400 and PL-200/AB-410) OR equivalent experience (typically 5 years of hands-on Power Platform work).
• Portals Experience: Minimum 3 years developing or migrating Adxstudio Portals (v8), Power Apps Portals, and Microsoft Power Pages.
• Data Models: Minimum 3 years migrating standard portal data models to the Enhanced Data Model.
• AI Assisted Dev: Minimum 1 year using Microsoft Copilot for Liquid translation, JavaScript generation, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years integrating Power Pages with external systems.
• 3 years mapping legacy security roles to Dataverse table permissions and web roles.
• 3 years working natively with Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, custom logic, and CSS3.
