Semi-retired, experienced former owner-operator seeking flexible part-time highway driving work.

Previously owned and operated six highway tractors. Extensive driving experience throughout Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories. Currently working part-time shuttling trucks and trailers across Western Canada.

Work requirements:

Maximum 2–3 days per week

Day driving

53-foot dry van or reefer trailers ONLY

No-touch freight preferred

Pin-to-pin highway runs

Flexible scheduling

Preferred routes: Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Peace River, Fort Nelson switch, Enterprise switch, Yellowknife and Vancouver.

Qualifications:

LCV certified

Clean driver's abstract — zero demerit points

Ice road experience

Extensive highway and northern driving experience

Safety-conscious, dependable and punctual

I'm looking for a reputable carrier that needs an experienced driver for selected routes, driver relief or additional coverage. I'm semi-retired and not seeking full-time employment.

Important: Dry van and reefer work only. No flat deck, hopper or other specialized freight.
