Beyond the Leash — Building Better Dogs & Owners

Hello, my name is Kody Heimpel, and I am a professional dog trainer with six years of experience working with dogs of all breeds, ages, personalities, and training needs.

I currently work at a structured dog daycare, where we focus on developing healthy social skills, establishing clear boundaries, and reinforcing calm, balanced behaviour. I also work with the number-one-voted dog training facility in the Waterloo Region for four consecutive years.

Through my experience, I have worked with thousands of dogs and their owners, helping them build stronger communication, confidence, and lasting relationships.

At Beyond the Leash, we offer a variety of professional dog training and care services, including:

• In-home dog sitting
• Leash reactivity training
• Puppy training
• Obedience training
• Dog socialization groups
