Punch Bowl (MINFILE 083D 038): one issued BC mineral claim, title number 1137578, good to 24 August 2027. Golden Mining Division, 59.19 hectares (3 cells).
Location: southwest face of McGillivray Ridge at Athabasca Pass on the BC–Alberta divide, about 60 km south-southwest of Jasper and 95 km southeast of Valemount. The provincial boundary cuts through the cells, and minerals on the Alberta side are not included.

Access: no road. Helicopter from Valemount, or on foot or horseback by the Athabasca Pass trail. The showings sit at about 2,090–2,165 m. The field season runs from about July to early October.
Geology: bedding-parallel quartz veins in Lower Cambrian McNaughton Formation quartzite and pelite. Visible gold was first reported in loose rock in the late 1960s and later in narrow quartz veins. The veins pinch and swell, from a few centimetres up to about 0.7–1.0 m thick, and the gold in them is erratic. The historic results are select grab and chip samples, not a mineable grade. Sampling from 2020 to 2023 followed one vein set for about 200 m. The high-grade 1989 face was not found again as a continuous face in the modern programs. It has never been drilled, there is no recorded production and there is no resource. The seller has not taken new samples.
Price and terms: $12,000 CAD, 100%, outright sale, no royalty. A $1,000 non-refundable deposit (Square invoice) is due within 24 hours, and the $11,000 balance goes by wire within 3 business days.
