smartduds.ca Dry Cleaning & Laundry Services, 352 Brock St S, Unit 11, Whitby, is hiring a full-time Service and Team Manager.

Hours: full-time, 40 hours a week. Monday to Friday 2 PM to 8 PM, and Saturday 8 AM to 6 PM. Saturdays are not optional. While you train you start with Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and move to the full week within your first month.

Pay: $20.50 an hour, going to $22.00 an hour after a 90-day training program. Payroll every two weeks with a pay stub and a T4. No cash.

The job:
You are at the counter and on the wash and fold floor, working alongside the team. Over 90 days the owner hands you the running of the store: staff schedules and call-outs, training and trial shifts, customer complaints, bookings for pickup and delivery, machine fault reports, supplies, the daily cash count, opening and closing, and a short weekly report.

You will suit this if you have:
- Led a shift or a small team before (retail, restaurant, dry cleaning, hotel or similar)
- A good way with customers and the confidence to make a call on your own
- Good organisation and clear written notes, and you are comfortable on a computer
- The strength to lift laundry up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet
- English for customers, staff and the phone
- A home within 30 minutes of Whitby
