Wellura, a Kitchener-Waterloo home care company, is hiring a part-time Snow Removal Assistant to keep our senior clients' driveways and walkways safe.

PAY
$22–25/hour mileage
2-hour minimum every snow day
Vacation pay included (you're an employee, not a contractor)

HOURS
Part-time, on-call, mid-November to mid-April
You work when it snows (4 cm or more, or icy conditions), usually early mornings
A small number of regular clients in KW

WE SUPPLY
Snowblower, shovels and salt

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Clear driveways, walkways, steps and porches by shovel and snowblower
- Salt steps and walkways
- Clear a safe path to the door and mailbox
- Text a quick before/after photo to our Care Coordinator after each visit

YOU'LL NEED
- Valid Ontario driver's licence
- A vehicle that can carry a snowblower, shovels and salt (SUV, minivan, pickup or similar)
- Availability on short notice, including early mornings and weekends
- Ability to shovel and run a snowblower in winter conditions
- A smartphone
- Clean criminal record check
