**Hiring: Custom Cabinetmaker / Exhibit Fabricator – $25/Hour**

We are hiring an experienced **Wood Exhibit Fabricator** for a company that designs and builds custom trade show exhibits.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in **custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, retail displays or exhibit fabrication**. Every project is different, so you must be comfortable reading shop drawings and building custom pieces accurately.

**Pay: $25 per hour**

**Responsibilities:**

- Read and interpret shop drawings to build accurately to specifications.
- Assemble custom counters, display platforms, wood towers and exhibit wall systems from pre-cut and CNC-cut components.
- Work with plywood, particleboard, melamine, masonite and bendable plywood.
- Build curved components and non-standard shapes.
- Apply laminates with tight seams, clean edges and a professional finish.
- Safely operate table saws, laminate trimmers, routers and other woodshop tools.
- Check dimensions and finish quality, and identify issues during assembly.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe workspace.
- Work with the team to meet project and trade show deadlines.

**Requirements:**

- Previous hands-on experience in custom cabinetmaking, millwork, exhibit fabrication or retail fixture building.
- Strong ability to read shop drawings and take accurate measurements.
- Experience applying laminates and finishing edges.
- Confidence using standard woodworking tools and equipment.
- Ability to build independently with strong attention to detail.
- Experience building curved or custom-shaped pieces.
- Trade show exhibit experience is an asset.

**This position requires skilled woodworking experience. It is not an entry-level general labour role.**
