Late Adult Diagnosis at 50! Peer Support for Men all ages!

Description
I was diagnosed by my Psychiatrist after a comprehensive historical review of my history back into my early childhood at age 50.

The Good News and Hope for all of us men is that I see more Hope and greater opportunities now that I have a completely full and comprehensive understanding of my last 53 1/2 years.

I accept and I’m mostly grateful that I found out at 50 rather than continuing living the psychological tormenting “HELL” along with the numerous emotional rollercoaster rides of crashing and thus spiralling out of control the remainder of my life.

I strongly believe I can continue to become healthier and more emotionally regulated in every area of my life as I learn more and become increasingly stabilized on my forward journey
And if you want join me as a fellow man and let’s support one another as Our Lives MATTER!

Today I’m 53 1/2 years old and it’s still quite a challenging learning curve as I learn, read, and in therapy become increasingly self-aware of how these particular symptoms affect the quality of my daily and overall decision making coupled with Complex PTSD and other chronic lifetime Mental illnesses / Health diagnoses that are so intertwined and similar in peculiar ways to my Severe ADHD challenges and often overlooked but difficult to differentiate between the various symptomomology of my mental health issues /concurrent disorders ( addictions) .

When my father went to jail at 15 years old have required counselling and medication since age 15-19 years old (close to 40 years) but in reality and a perfect world it would have been much advantageous to have had early professional childhood intervention on all fronts……………..

because of my terrorizing dysfunctional and very abusive violent dangerous abusive home on all levels as a young boy by both parents, siblings, other older babysitters, and church people that left me painfully shattered, lost, confused, suicidal, and severely depressed with a desire to end my life too many times to count and 3 serious attempts of suicide and multiple psychiatric short and long term stay hospitalizations to become stabilized.

The Harvard University specific tailored test was utilized and my severity levels and scores were “OFF THE CHARTS” as stated by my Clinical Psychiatrist!

I was both relieved and shocked at the same time with the news and than we started experimenting with various treatments and medication options.

with Severe ADHD or otherwise known as Attention Deficit Disorder Peer Support for Men “I Can Relate” Severe ADHD Symptoms

Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult? I was — severely ADHD, diagnosed around
age 50 after a lifetime of wondering why my brain works the way it does.
I'm still learning how it affects me every single day.

I offer peer support and coaching for late-diagnosed adults — not as a
therapist, but as someone walking the same road. No judgment, no clinical
coldness. Just honest conversation with someone who understands the racing
mind, the chronic lateness, the urgency that never switches off, the
feeling of always being "too much" or "not enough."

This is peer support, not therapy or medical treatment. If what you need
is clinical care, I'll tell you so honestly.

Men I provide a free 30 minute meet and greet call

So nothing to lose, but only gain guys!

A lot of times I was conditioned as a very young boy and into my male adult life to “ do it alone / and with regret suffering needless pain because it’s your fellow men / peers that understand you the most not always the therapist or professionals.
