Off Grid Solar Systems
Description
OFF-GRID SOLAR SYSTEMS — CABINS, ACREAGES & REMOTE SITES
Complete kits from 2.5kW to 16kW · 5kWh to 32kWh of storage
THE NEIGHBORHOOD SOLAR STORE DIFFERENCE
Off-grid is the hardest thing to buy piecemeal and the easiest to get wrong,
because there's no grid underneath to cover the mistake. Undersize the battery
and you run a generator. Undersize the inverter and the well pump won't start.
Put an unheated lithium module in a Saskatchewan shed and it won't charge at all
in January.
So we sell off-grid as complete systems — inverter, battery, panels, racking and
cable, sized to work together — and we size around your worst week, not your
average day.
Everything is certified equipment: UL 1741 on the inverters, UL 1973 and
IEC 62619 on the batteries, CSA certified Canadian-made racking. Installation is
done to the Canadian Electrical Code by you or a qualified electrician, and the
wiring diagrams and manuals come with the order.
WHAT WE BUILD
Weekend cabins at 2.5kW and 5kWh, through full-time chalets, up to working farm
yards at 16kW with 32kWh of storage and multi-day autonomy. Split-phase
inverters, stackable or cabinet battery systems, roof or ground mount.
THE COLD-WEATHER PART
This is what separates a system that works from one that disappoints. Lithium
will not accept charge below freezing. If the battery is going in an unheated
space you need built-in heating and thermal management — we stock cabinets built
for exactly that. We'll ask where it's going before recommending one.
NOT SURE WHAT SIZE?
Send us your loads — what you run, how long, and what absolutely must keep
running. We'll size the array, the battery and the inverter, and quote it as one
package with a real freight number. No obligation until you order.
