Cadence – A Special Soul Looking for Her Forever Home

Cadence is a 17-year-old registered Peruvian mare, who originally came from Paradice Ranch. She is about 14 hands, looking for a loving home where she can enjoy a quieter, more relaxed chapter of her life.
We have made the decision to reduce the size of our herd and would love to find Cadence a home where she can receive more individual attention, affection, and quality time with her person.

Cadence is a sensitive, willing mare with a wonderful will to please. She is very light and responsive under saddle, always tries her best to do the right thing, and listens carefully to her rider. Her attentive nature can make her a lovely partner for a less confident rider who appreciates a calm, patient approach.
She needs a little time to build trust, but once she feels safe with someone, she forms a deep and loyal bond. When Cadence trusts her person, she is the kind of horse that would go through fire for them.
Cadence is very low in the herd hierarchy, so a peaceful environment where she feels safe and comfortable with her equine companions would be ideal.

For her next chapter, we are looking for a kind, patient person and a smaller, lightweight rider who enjoys gentle riding and building a trusting partnership. Her future home should focus on light riding, age-appropriate exercises, and regular trail rides. We can especially picture her with a senior rider who would enjoy sharing peaceful rides and little adventures with a devoted companion.

Cadence is prone to laminitis but remains symptom-free with appropriate management. Careful attention to her diet, turnout, and overall care is essential.

She currently lives in a herd with other Peruvians, is regularly dewormed, and receives routine farrier care.
Our wish is to find Cadence a loving home where she can be cherished, receive the individual attention she deserves, and enjoy life at a gentler pace.
