Technician / Mechanic - Vehicles and Cleaning Equipment

Bee-Clean Building Maintenance is recruiting a Technician/ Mechanic with an interest in mechanical work to join its team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of company vehicles and various types of janitorial/cleaning equipment

Key Responsibilities
Inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing janitorial and cleaning equipment. Performing basic mechanical maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment Servicing floor scrubbers, burnishers, vacuum systems, pressure washers, carpet extractors, and other related equipment. Performing regular preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Replacing belts, hoses, filters, batteries, brushes, motors, and other parts Performing oil changes, brake checks, tire replacements, and other basic automotive maintenance. Inspecting equipment to identify potential issues early and prevent major breakdowns. Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance, parts, and servicing Traveling to customer locations or job sites to perform work when required. Communicating equipment-related issues and repair needs to supervisors and operations staff

Qualifications
Prior experience working with vehicles, machinery, tools, or mechanical equipment is preferred Understanding of mechanical work and a willingness to learn new things.

Experience with janitorial or commercial cleaning equipment is an asset but not mandatory. • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and problem-solving,. Ability to use common hand tools and power tools. . Ability to identify problems and determine necessary repairs. A valid driver's license is required . Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. . Physically capable of lifting, moving, and working with equipment and parts
