About Klarissa
As a classroom teacher for 20 years, Klarissa witnessed how easily students can fall through the cracks of the education system. For many students, it is challenging to focus or have the confidence to ask the questions they need to understand when they are in a large group. As a classroom teacher, Klarissa gave up her break times to work with students and saw how quickly they understood concepts when they had individual instruction. It did not take long for Klarissa to decide to leave her local school board to focus on empowering students through one-to-one tutoring on a full time basis. As of March 2022, she returned to supply teaching when her busy tutoring schedule allows it, to help offset the effects of the teacher shortage. This return has enhanced her tutoring sessions since she is able to see first hand what is going on in the classroom.

Since 2016, Klarissa has had the pleasure of tutoring students with many needs and abilities, from all backgrounds to succeed in their goals.
