For sale is a tin lithograph battery-operated “Ford Model T” toy car with original box. This tin lithograph “Ford Model T” toy was manufactured in Japan during the 1950s-1960s, part of the post-war Japanese toy boom when the country became a major exporter of tin toys to Western markets. These battery-operated toys represented cutting-edge technology for their time, featuring multi-action mechanisms that made them highly desirable playthings.

Japanese tin toys from this era are now highly collectible among vintage toy enthusiasts, nostalgia collectors, and automotive memorabilia fans. The presence of the original box significantly increases the value, as most boxes were discarded during play. These toys appeal to multiple collecting communities including tin toy specialists, “Ford Model T” enthusiasts, and mid-century Japanese toy collectors who appreciate the craftsmanship, lithographic detail, and historical significance of these mass-produced yet charming mechanical toys.

Approximate measurements: 10.25” long X 3.75”H X 4.5”W. Presented in very good overall condition (with minor wear consistent with age and use). Original box shows wear (see pictures). A wonderful collectible for the car enthusiast!
