Work location: Marquette, Manitoba (on farm, rural area west of Winnipeg)

Terms of employment: Seasonal, full-time. March 1, 2027 to December 15, 2027.
Positions: 84
Wage: $16.40 per hour
Hours: 40-60 hours per week. Hours vary with weather and crop conditions, including some evenings and weekends during harvest.

Duties:

Plant, transplant and hand-weed vegetable crops (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, celery)
Seed and care for transplants in the greenhouse
Hand-harvest, trim, grade and pack vegetables in the field and packhouse
Load and unload produce, bins and supplies
Help set up and move irrigation equipment
Clean and maintain tools, equipment and work areas
Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures

Work conditions: Outdoor physical work in all weather. Repetitive tasks, bending, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lb). Fast-paced environment.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
Experience: No experience required. Training will be provided.
