Job Opening: Kitchen Helper / Dishwasher (Weekends Required)
Location: Chaat Chowk, 27 Main Street North, Brampton, ON
Job Type: Full-Time (Weekend availability is mandatory)

Chaat Chowk is a bustling Indian street food restaurant in the heart of Brampton. We pride ourselves on serving authentic, high-quality street food and creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere for our customers. We are looking for an energetic and hardworking team player to join our kitchen family!
Key Responsibilities:
Dishwashing: Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher, wash pots, pans, and utensils thoroughly, and keep the dish station clean and organized.
Kitchen Prep Support: Assist the cooking staff with basic food preparation tasks (e.g., washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and organizing ingredients).
Sanitation & Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and sanitizing prep surfaces in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Team Support: Help keep the kitchen running smoothly during peak hours by restocking supplies and assisting where needed.
Requirements:
Must be available to work weekends (peak operating hours).
Reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and stand for extended periods.
Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or as a dishwasher is an asset, but willingness to learn is more important—training will be provided!
Food Handler certification is a plus.
