JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a reliable and skilled construction painter to join our growing team. The
successful candidate will responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coating, and
completing interior and exterior painting work on residential, commercial, and construction
project.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
 Prepare walls and surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, using sandpaper,
patching, removing old paint, repairing cracks, holes, and imperfections.
 Reading specifications and determining the materials required for each project.
 Apply paint, stain, varnish, primer, and other protective or decorative coatings to walls,
ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces.
 Measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper and other wall covering.
 Use brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting tools safely and effectively.
 Checking inventory and ordering paint and other supplies when needed.
 Inspect finished work to ensure proper coverage, colour consistency, smoothness and
overall quality.
 Set up and safely use ladders, scaffolding, and related equipment.
 Coordinate with contractors, tradespeople, supervisor, and other construction workers.
 Safely handle, store, and dispose of paints, solvents, and other materials.
 Follow workplace health and safety procedures and proper use of personal protective
equipment.


Job Requirements / Qualifications

 Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
 Experience: 1 to 2 years of direct experience as a construction painter.
 Willing to work in any locations within Saskatchewan.
 Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
 Good attention to detail.
 Basic English communication and organizational skills.
