Fisher

Fisher – 4-Year-Old Quarter Horse Gelding

15.2 HH
Fisher was started under saddle in early May and has proven to be agreeable, kind, and an incredibly quick learner. He loves his people and has a confident, trusting personality.

He already has 40 mountain rides under his belt (we honestly lost track!), including about five weeks spent in the Kakwa Mountains, where he was ridden and used daily. On top of that, he has at least 30 regular trail rides and some arena experience.

Fisher has an excellent mind for the mountains. He is sure-footed, calm, and happy to truck along all day. You name the obstacle and he’s willing to work through it. With a little more time and training, I believe he could easily go in just about any direction or discipline.

He is currently fit, sound, and in excellent physical condition. He is comfortable getting shoes put on, sprayed with the garden hose, hobbled, and tied.

You can jump on him bareback, ride him in a halter, very good around chain saw. He has also pulled a pack string of four horses.

Fisher is confident and trusting and would be ideal for an intermediate rider looking for a long-term mount with lots of potential.
