Arctic Shield Salt is hiring reliable, hardworking production workers for our salt bagging operation.

Position: Salt Bagging / Production Worker
Shifts: 12-hour Day or Night Shifts

Job Duties:

• Place empty bags onto the salt hopper/filling station
• Fill bags with up to 50 lbs of salt
• Check bag weight and make sure bags are filled correctly
• Seal filled bags using the bag-sealing machine
• Stack finished 50-lb bags neatly onto skids/pallets
• Help wrap and prepare completed skids for shipping
• Keep the production area clean and organized
• Work as part of a production team to keep the line moving efficiently
• Perform other general warehouse/production duties as required

Requirements:
• Must be physically capable of repeatedly lifting and handling 50-lb bags throughout a 12-hour shift
• Must have your own vehicle and reliable transportation — there is no public transportation available to the work location
• Must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts
• Day and night shifts are available
• Must be dependable and show up on time
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Must follow all workplace and equipment safety procedures
• Must be able to work well with a team

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for dependable people who are ready to work. This is a physical, hands-on position involving filling, sealing, lifting and stacking 50-lb bags of salt.
Previous warehouse, production, landscaping, construction or general labour experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right people.
