FJA CONSTRUCTION IS HIRING — 2 EXPERIENCED RENOVATION WORKERS

Ottawa and surrounding areas
$35–$40 per hour, depending on experience and skills

We are looking for two skilled, reliable renovation workers who can complete residential renovation tasks from demolition through painting and final finishing.

Work includes:

* Demolition of bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, drywall and cabinets.
* Site preparation, dust protection, debris removal and cleanup.
* Framing walls, bulkheads, backing and other non-structural carpentry.
* Subfloor repairs, levelling and preparation.
* Installing insulation and vapour barriers.
* Installing drywall, taping, mudding, sanding and wall repairs.
* Waterproofing showers and tub surrounds.
* Installing shower bases, tile, backsplashes, niches and grout.
* Installing vinyl, laminate and hardwood flooring.
* Installing doors, baseboards, casing, trim and mouldings.
* Installing cabinets, vanities, shelving and bathroom accessories.
* Caulking, filling, priming and painting walls, ceilings, doors and trim.
* Assisting licensed plumbers and electricians with renovation work.
* Final touch-ups, finishing details and jobsite cleanup.

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years of residential renovation experience.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
* Reliable, punctual and respectful in clients’ homes.
* Able to follow instructions, measurements and project drawings.
* Own reliable transportation.
