Schikowski Family Farm Group is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking Farm Hand to join our team on our large-scale grain farming operation.

We are hiring for a permanent full-time position, with the possibility of a full-time summer position next year. The start date is negotiable based on the successful candidate’s availability.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys agriculture, takes pride in their work, and wants to build a future in farming. You’ll gain hands-on experience across all aspects of a large grain operation, work exclusively with modern farm equipment, and have opportunities to take on increasing responsibility as your skills and experience grow.

We value a positive, respectful team culture where people work together, communicate well, and take pride in getting the job done right. You’ll be supported by an experienced crew and play an important role in keeping the farm operating safely and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing:
• Operating modern tractors, combines, sprayers and other farm equipment
• Participating in seeding, spraying, harvest and grain handling
• Trucking grain and farm inputs
• Completing equipment maintenance, servicing and general repairs
• Performing general farm and yard work throughout the year
• Working closely with the team to keep a large farming operation running efficiently
• Learning new skills and taking on additional responsibility over time

What we’re looking for:
• Class 1A licence preferred
• Previous farm and/or heavy equipment experience is an asset
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable operating and caring for large equipment
• Reliable, motivated and willing to work longer hours during seeding, spraying and harvest
• Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team
• Safety-minded, detail-oriented and committed to doing quality work
• Positive attitude and a genuine interest in agriculture
• Willingness to learn and grow within the operation

What we offer:
• Permanent full-time employment
• 15 min from Regina
• Possibility of full-time summer employment next year
• Negotiable start date
• Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications
• Experience operating modern farm equipment
• Opportunities to develop your equipment, mechanical and farming skills
• Opportunities for increased responsibility and long-term growth
• A supportive, hardworking team environment
• The chance to be involved in all aspects of a large-scale grain farming operation

We operate a large, modern grain farm using only modern farm equipment, with a strong focus on efficiency, safety and teamwork. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than a seasonal job and is interested in developing a long-term career in agriculture.

If you’re hardworking, enthusiastic about farming and looking for a workplace where you can learn, contribute and grow, we’d like to hear from you.

To apply: Send us a message with a brief introduction, your farming and equipment experience, whether you have your Class 1A, your availability and your contact information.
