GENERAL LABOURER / HANDYMAN HELPER – $20/HR – AURORA/NEWMARKET

Local general contracting and property management company is looking for a reliable, hardworking helper/labourer to join our team and become a right-hand person for a variety of construction, maintenance and property-related work.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has basic construction/handyman knowledge, enjoys variety, and is looking for steady work with an opportunity to grow with the company.

TYPICAL WORK MAY INCLUDE:
• General construction labour and site assistance
• Property maintenance and repairs
• Grounds work and outdoor cleanup
• Interior demolition, cleanup and miscellaneous labour
• Changing toilets and faucets
• Basic plumbing and handyman tasks
• Minor repairs and troubleshooting
• Painting, caulking and general maintenance
• Helping skilled trades and contractors on job sites
• Maintaining our own rental properties as well as client properties

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Dependable and committed
• Basic construction/handyman knowledge
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools
• Able to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues
• Willing to learn and take on different types of work
• Able to work independently when required
• Ideally located in the Aurora/Newmarket area
• Must have your own reliable vehicle and transportation

Starting Pay: $20/hour

Pay will increase with experience, performance and responsibility. We’re looking for someone interested in more than just a temporary job — ideally someone who wants to grow with the company and take on more responsibility over time.
