Mission Superwash Inc., is a well-established business that has been serving the Penticton community with touchless and self-serve car wash options for over 20 years. To expand our team, we are seeking a Supervisor to lead and contribute to the success of their team.

As the successful candidate, you will assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervise the people providing exceptional customer service, maintain equipment, coach and train great people and help support them in their learning and performance on the job. Your strong electrical and mechanical aptitude will contribute to your ability to step in and keep things running smoothly. As someone with natural leadership skills, you will take ownership of your role and model strong team behaviors and an appreciative work environment.

A day in the life of this position will include operating the car wash while providing strong customer service, managing cash, troubleshooting mechanical challenges, participating in interviews for new team members and providing positive performance coaching for existing team members. This position provides a great combination of duties split evenly between hands-on work (mechanical/electrical/working with tools) and customer service; plumbing, mechanical and electrical experience is needed. Your ability to work alone and multi-task throughout the day will lead to success in this role.

Responsibilities :
Duties & Responsibilities

Put customer care first: warmly greet all incoming automatic (Typhoon) and self-serve customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
Assist customers with wash options, guide vehicles safely into the bays, and troubleshoot customer service questions on-site.
Oversee site flow to minimize customer wait times during peak hours.
Inspect site readiness, clean the Dog Wash station, set out entryways, and check POS debit machines (Typhoon & Kondor) to ensure receipt paper and systems are fully stocked and ready for the day.
Execute security protocols including locking all facility doors (office, shop, Typhoon bays, and Dog Wash doors), locking outer security gates, powering off unnecessary equipment/fans/lights, and securing the daily cash box in the designated safe area.
Manage weekly schedule logistics (e.g., ensuring garbage bins are unlocked and accessible on scheduled pickup mornings like Thursdays).
Perform regular walkthroughs to clear litter, leaves, or debris across the grounds to maintain great curb appeal.
Wash down bays, clean out bay pits, sanitize customer restrooms, and ensure the Dog Wash station remains clean and welcoming throughout the shift.
Monitor vacuum stations: empty vacuum collection bins before they reach capacity and keep vacuum hoses wrapped neatly.
Keep waste management on top of mind by emptying facility garbage bins once half-full.
Monitor and restock liquid wash chemicals (Typhoon bay formulations, backup office stock).
Restock bulk operational supplies such as water softener salt, receipt paper, and cleaning items.
Maintain and replenish retail vending supplies, including air fresheners, dash wipes, and rain wipes in both office and bay vending areas.


This full-time position (32-40 hours/week) with a varied scheduling including some weekends is based in Kelowna, BC. The starting wage is $23-25 per hour providing you have the experience and mechanical aptitude to be successful. A comprehensive benefits package and performance-based incentives may also be offered to the successful candidate.
