Email all resumes to irenedecarolis71@gmail.com • $17.60 hourly / 30 to 72 hours per week • Seasonal Employment – Full Time • Early morning, Evening, Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime required, overtime available • Start as soon as possible Responsibilities • Apply the technique of hoeing between the rows • Clean the crops • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas • Clear fields of wood and stones • Cultivate on vertical farming system • Cut agricultural crops • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, color, and volume to fetch high price in market • Level earth to fine grade specifications • Monitor waste lines, air flow and temperature in barns • Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops • Shear and shape trees and plants with knife • Sort fruits and vegetables • Weeding • Write daily basic progress reports • Clean work area • Harvest crops • Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment • Clean stables, barns and barnyards and pens • Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry • Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market Types of crops: Sweet Corn Vegetables Transportation/travel information Own transportation Work conditions and physical capabilities • Ability to work independently • Fast-paced environment • Repetitive tasks • Handling heavy loads • Tight deadlines • Physically demanding • Manuel dexterity • Hand-eye co-ordination • Ability to distinguish between colors • Attention to detail • Standing for extended periods • Bending, crouching, kneeling • Sound discrimination • Combination of sitting, standing, walking • Walking • Sitting Weight handling Up to 23kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability • Flexibility • Organized • Reliability • Team player Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: Will Train Who can apply for this job?
