I m the second owner of this 2001 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD. Selling my Pride & Joy.
The original owner used the truck to commute between Texas and Alberta.
I bought the truck in 2013 and did extensive work to it. Haven't been driving it much for the past 13 years because I have another 2001 Chevy Dually 8.1 as my work horse.
I bought a brand new take off box (6500$) back then and had the truck repainted (8K $) in black. The complete interior has been changed out to a 2 tone Denali/Escalade Interior. The truck also has 6 brand new tires on it. Just serviced the front/rear diff, new encoder motor, a fresh oil change. New Silverado Cat eye tail lights, new windshield, new diamond cut headlights & marker lights. Box has a spray in box liner, new Escalade door handles all around and sooo much more.... Have the original GM Dealer window sticker, warranty booklet and owners manual. Truck was serviced at Stetson GM Drayton Valley until I bought it. Since then I serviced the truck myself (retired GM tech).
If you looking for a VERY(!!) decent presentable classic body style truck - that's the one for you.

PS: If you do the math honestly !! - its better to buy a GM 1 ton Dually with an gas engine (low cost maintenance) instead of a Duramax with 2.55 $/liter Diesel these days and very costly Diesel engine maintenance (broken head bolts, blown head gaskets, bad injectors, worn out turbos, electrical problems etc)...
