**Miss the satisfaction of keeping a home and yard in good shape?**

Perhaps you’ve retired or downsized to an apartment or condo, but still miss having a yard to tend, a garage to organize, and small jobs that leave a place better than you found it.

If you’ve always taken pride in looking after your home, I’d welcome that same care here. This could be an opportunity to keep doing something you enjoy, earn some extra income, and see the difference your efforts make.

I’m a senior myself. Circumstances have made it difficult for me to keep my property in order, and I still need to work. I’m looking for someone reliable who enjoys caring for a house, yard, and garage. Your experience, ideas, and attention to the little things would be appreciated.

The work would include:

- Yard care and seasonal upkeep.
- Keeping things clean, tidy and organized.
- Small maintenance jobs suited to your abilities.
- Occasional errands, for which **you must have your own transportation**.

You would also keep a shared online list of things you notice need doing, with an estimate of the time each would take. We would review it together and choose priorities based on what I can afford. **You must be comfortable updating the list on your phone, or willing to learn.**

**Before a paid trial, you must complete a short practice exercise using a shared online list on your phone:** open the list, add sample tasks and estimated times, put them in priority order, and mark a sample item complete. Instructions and initial help will be provided, but you must demonstrate that you can then manage the list independently.

There may also be occasional work organizing receipts and entering dates and amounts into a computer, if that interests you. Property care would remain the priority.

We would agree on the responsibilities and a manageable, flexible schedule—possibly up to 10 hours a week on an ongoing basis. **My budget is limited to a maximum of $20 per hour** for the time we agree to schedule. I hope to find someone who would enjoy a comfortable working relationship that lasts.

**A full-time non-smoker is required because of allergies.** Even the odour of smoke carried on clothing is a problem, so refraining from smoking during working hours would not be sufficient.

**There are security cameras throughout the property**, and I will likely be away on the days you come by. Please apply only if you are comfortable working in that setting.
