**Home Child Care Provider, NOC 44100**

Brent Nanny, Private Household, is seeking to hire a experienced Home Child Care Provider to work at M5A 0C9. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position offering 30 hours of work per week at CAD $21.00 per hour. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible. The work schedule may include early mornings, daytime hours, evenings and weekends, depending on the family’s childcare needs. The language of work is English. No additional benefits are offered. Public transportation is available near the work location.

The caregiver will independently supervise and care for four children of different ages. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing and feeding the children; preparing and serving nutritious meals; supporting toilet training; preparing younger children for rest periods; helping older children with homework; organizing age-appropriate games, activities and outings; taking the children to and from school, appointments and activities; and supporting their emotional well-being and social development. The caregiver will follow the parents’ methods of guidance and discipline, maintain a safe and healthy home environment and assume full responsibility for the children when the parents are absent. Related duties include light housekeeping, children’s laundry, tidying the children’s rooms and activity areas, shopping for food and household supplies and occasionally travelling with the family to assist with childcare. The position may require lifting up to 13.5 kilograms or 30 pounds.

Applicants must have completed secondary school and have at least three years of relevant childcare experience, including experience caring for multiple children, preferably children of different ages. This experience is required because the caregiver must independently manage the simultaneous needs, schedules and safety considerations of four children at different developmental stages. The successful candidate must demonstrate sound judgment, reliability, honesty, patience and strong organizational skills. The work environment is non-smoking. References are required.

Optional live-in accommodation consisting of a private, furnished bedroom is available at no charge.
