In this role, you will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting our budgeting and reconciliation processes. Responsibilities
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Perform account reconciliations regularly, including bank reconciliations, to verify accuracy of financial data.
• Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks) to record transactions, generate reports, and maintain organized financial records.
• Conduct detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Payroll processing, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Support budgeting activities by preparing financial reports and monitoring expenses against forecasts.
• Maintain comprehensive bookkeeping records and ensure all documentation complies with company policies and audit standards.
• Preparation of documents for external accountants

Requirements
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar role
• Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting and/or working towards CPA designation preferred
• Post-secondary degree in a related field will be considered an asset
• Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough account analysis.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and related compliance requirements is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and support internal stakeholders.

This is a Part-time position, approx 2-3 days/week, and is flexible.
