iCAN Hockey is growing, and we’re looking for experienced, passionate Hockey Development Coaches to join our team.

We are looking for individuals who understand the game, enjoy developing young athletes, and know how to create a positive, structured and challenging training environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous competitive hockey playing experience
• Previous experience coaching or training children and youth
• Strong understanding of hockey skills and player development
• Ability to communicate effectively with athletes of different ages and skill levels
• Reliable, professional and confident working independently and as part of a coaching team
• Positive attitude and genuine interest in helping young players improve

Our coaches work with developing hockey players through structured skills training, including skating, puck control, shooting, stickhandling, off-ice development and other aspects of individual player development.
We value coaches who can teach, not simply demonstrate — people who understand how to break down a skill, identify what an athlete needs to improve, and adapt their coaching to the individual player.

This is a great opportunity for former or current competitive hockey players who enjoy coaching and want to be part of a professional hockey development environment.
