We are a property management company looking for a reliable Maintenance Handyman to service multiple rental properties throughout the Ottawa area.

If you have experience with general property maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting and enjoy working independently, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
Perform general repairs and maintenance across multiple rental properties
Complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs
Perform drywall repairs, patching, painting, and touch-ups
Repair or troubleshoot minor appliance issues
Repair doors, locks, fixtures, and other general building items
Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance
Respond to minor emergency maintenance issues when required
Travel between properties throughout Ottawa to complete work orders
Communicate professionally with tenants and the property management team
Coordinate with the administration team regarding scheduling and work orders

Requirements:
Previous experience in property maintenance, handyman work, general repairs, or a related trade
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle required
Own basic tools
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple work orders
Good communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Available for occasional urgent call-outs when required

Pay: Hourly, based on experience
Hours: Flexible, with occasional urgent call-outs
