Description
Our company in the North York area is looking for a full time Warehouse Inventory Controller with forklift experience.

Responsibilities;
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including raw materials, packaging, and finished goods by doing frequent cycle count on A class FGs and FGs that have little to no inventory.
• Analyze and report Inventory Adjustments of frequently consumed RM and skids that have least inventory on hand on a weekly basis with Cost Accountant (CA) after approval from SCM. Inventory adjustment form will be provided and once approved data should be entered by CA into the (ERP) accurately and timely.
• Monitor stock levels, identify and flag replenishment needs of raw materials as necessary to prevent shortages, based on the Material Requirements Plan generated by SCM through Production Schedule.
• Assist shipping and receiving by ensuring proper inventory rotation techniques are followed based on First In First Out (FIFO).
• Organize and store materials in designated areas, maintaining proper storage conditions for frozen and cool room. Will be provided with a list of materials that have allergens. Each RM will need to be allocated a bin location, that will need to be updated on FB. Bin location will need to be named as some of them are damaged.
• Work closely with production and warehouse teams to support workflow and productivity.
• Keep a track of Sanitation room, such as Chemicals, PPE, Janitorial items.
• Identify and reduce SLOBs, overlook inventory transfers, dispose expired or non-compliance inventory.
• Organize freezer and cooler space, including double and triple stacking of FGs to maximize storage.
• Verifying FGs count with packaging depth daily to make sure, FGs is entering the freezer = FGs is found in holding area before staging.
• Assist the Shipping/Receiving personnel as needed by inspecting incoming raw materials while receiving, verify against invoices, check for damages as well as Prepare orders while shipping and generate Bills of Lading (BOL), packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Involved in loading and unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments, and organizing stock within the warehouse.
• Possessing forklift certification is an asset in this position, enabling associates to manage larger shipments with ease.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and HACCP requirements.

Qualifications;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing facility environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices, food safety, and quality control.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to simultaneously manage competing priorities.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, environmental health and safety, and OSHA.
• Intermediate computer skills; proficiency in select Microsoft Office applications is preferable.
• Ability to work well with others, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the facility.
• Experience operating mobile equipment (standing forklift, manual and electric pallet jacks, etc.).
