Lawn Care Team Lead / Foreman

Oasis Lawns is hiring an experienced Lawn Care Team Lead / Foreman to run a two-person lawn maintenance crew.

We are looking for a reliable, experienced professional who can take ownership of a weekly maintenance route, operate independently, lead a crew member, and maintain a high standard of quality across our residential properties.

The Role

You will be responsible for operating the company vehicle and leading a two-person lawn care crew while servicing recurring residential accounts throughout the GTA.

Responsibilities include:

* Leading and managing a two-person lawn care crew
* Driving the company truck to and from job sites
* Completing weekly and bi-weekly lawn maintenance visits
* Professional mowing, trimming, edging and blowing
* Garden bed maintenance, weeding and general property cleanup
* Hedge and shrub trimming as required
* Lawn treatments, fertilizing and other lawn-care services
* Aeration, overseeding and seasonal lawn-care services
* Identifying lawn and landscape issues and bringing them to management’s attention
* Following property-specific service instructions and maintaining detailed service standards
* Communicating professionally with homeowners when required
* Ensuring work is completed thoroughly and on schedule
* Checking equipment and keeping the truck and tools organized
* Training and directing the crew member working alongside you
* Maintaining a clean, professional appearance and representing Oasis Lawns positively
* Taking before/after photos and reporting completed work when required

Requirements

Required:

* Minimum 2 years of professional lawn care / landscape maintenance experience
* Previous experience operating as a crew lead, foreman or senior lawn-care technician is preferred
* Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
* Comfortable driving a company truck
* Strong knowledge of professional lawn maintenance
* Able to operate commercial lawn-care equipment safely and efficiently
* Reliable, punctual and organized
* Able to work independently and manage a daily route
* Strong attention to detail
* Professional communication and customer-service skills
* Physically capable of working outdoors throughout the season
* Able to lead, train and hold a crew member accountable

Who We’re Looking For

This position is not an entry-level lawn mowing job.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands what a properly maintained property should look like, and does not need to be constantly supervised.

You should be someone who can look at a property and immediately notice what needs to be done.

Quality, reliability, leadership and accountability are extremely important to us.
