The Team Lead Mechanic is responsible for leading diesel technicians in the maintenance, repair, and compliance of commercial trucks and equipment. This role combines hands-on mechanical work with supervisory and leadership responsibilities to ensure safety, productivity, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and support mechanics and technicians.
• Assign work to technicians based on skill level, experience, and operational priorities.
• Perform and oversee scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on commercial trucks and trailers.
• Ensure all repairs meet DOT, company, and safety standards.
• Monitor productivity and ensure service targets and turnaround times are met.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Review, approve, and close work orders; ensure timely and accurate documentation.

Job Qualifications
Must have 310T Diesel Mechanic certification
Minimum 2 years experience in truck and trailer repair
