**Part-Time Play & Party Team Member — $18/hour**

PlayLoft Social is a new private indoor kids’ play and party venue coming to Clarington, with an anticipated opening in early November 2026.

We’re looking for **one or two energetic, outgoing and reliable part-time team members** to join us as we get ready to open.

This could be a great first job for a high school student who wants to gain work experience in a fun, family-focused environment. You’ll have an opportunity to get involved before we even open our doors and help shape the culture and experience of a brand-new local business.

About PlayLoft Social

PlayLoft Social is being designed as a different kind of kids’ party venue. Families who book with us will have the entire venue privately for their celebration, with soft play and entertainment for kids alongside comfortable seating, music, TVs and amenities for parents and caregivers.

Our goal is simple: create a place where kids have an amazing time and adults actually enjoy being at the party too.

Before opening, hours will be minimal and sporadic and may involve helping with things such as:

* Cleaning and organizing
* Setting up the venue
* Preparing supplies and equipment
* Promotional and community events
* Helping prepare for our launch
* Other general odd jobs involved in getting a new business ready to open

Once PlayLoft Social opens, the role will grow to include:

* Greeting families and helping with guest check-in
* Helping set up and reset birthday parties
* Assisting customers and answering questions
* Keeping the venue clean, organized and welcoming
* Monitoring play areas and helping maintain a safe environment
* Supporting party hosts and special events
* Cleaning and sanitizing between bookings
* Helping create a fun, positive experience for kids and families

This is a **part-time, flexible position**.

Before opening, hours will be limited and irregular. Once we open, there will be more consistent opportunities for work, although the position will remain part-time.

We understand that students have school, extracurricular activities and other commitments, so we intend to be as flexible as possible with scheduling.

**Applicants should specifically be available on September 12 and October 3, 2026, for promotional activities.**

You do not need extensive work experience. This could be an excellent first job.

Because this is a new business, we are especially interested in people who are excited about joining early, sharing ideas and helping us create the kind of place families will love coming back to.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour.

Because employees will be working in an environment serving children, successful applicants must be willing and able to complete a **Vulnerable Sector Check or other required screening before beginning regular operations in November**.

Play Loft Social will reimburse the cost of the required screening following successful completion of the employee’s three-month probationary period.
