Snow Loader Operators – Part-Time / On-Call

$35–$45/hour

Allen Contracting is looking for experienced loader operators for commercial snow removal in Thunder Bay this winter.

This is a part-time/on-call position and would be a good fit for experienced operators looking to make extra money throughout the winter.

What we offer:

$35–$45/hour depending on experience
Additional $5/hour reliability bonus, paid at the end of the snow season
4-hour minimum call-out
Newer, well-maintained equipment with snow blades
Assigned loader and route where possible
Snow-management software used for routes, site information and job tracking
Primarily nights, early mornings and weekends depending on snowfall
Opportunity for significant hours during larger snow events

What we’re looking for:

Previous loader/heavy equipment experience
Snow removal experience preferred
Able to work independently
Comfortable operating around buildings, parked vehicles and other obstacles
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
Available on short notice when snow events occur
Dependable — if you’re scheduled for a snow event, we need you to show up

This is an on-call snow position, so hours will depend on weather and snowfall.
