Position: Full-Time
JOB SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Associate to join our client’s
manufacturing team in Mississauga. The successful candidate will assist with metal fabrication
and production activities, operate and assist with machinery, handle metal materials, perform
basic general labour and assembly duties to ensure finished products meet quality standards.
Experience with metal fabrication, bending machines, band saws, hand tools, and power
tools is an asset. The company is prepared to provide full training from the ground up
to the right candidate if you can demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 Operate and assist with production machinery and equipment used in metal fabrication.
 Load and unload raw materials, including wire, tubing, sheet metal, and fabricated
components.
 Operate or assist with a bending machine and band saw.
 Assist with wire forming, cutting, drilling, deburring, polishing, grinding, and
bending of metal.
 Perform basic assembly of metal components, fixtures, displays, and finished products.
 Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
 Assist machine operators with setting up materials, tools, and production equipment.
 Inspect finished parts and components to ensure they meet quality and dimensional
requirements.
 Measure products using rulers, tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other basic
measuring tools.
 Identify defective, damaged, or improperly fabricated parts and report issues to the
supervisor.
 Follow production drawings, work instructions, specifications, and customer
requirements.
 Handle and move metal materials safely, including lifting and positioning components.
 Package completed products and prepare them for shipping or the next stage of
production.
 Maintain production quantities and complete required production and inspection records.
 Report equipment problems, safety concerns, material shortages, and production issues to
the supervisor.

 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
 Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including proper PPE requirements.
 Work closely with machine operators, welders, fabricators, and other production team
members.
 Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality and accuracy.
 Perform other general production and labour duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
 Previous experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing is an asset.
 Experience using a bending machine and band saw is preferred.
 Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
 Strong attention to detail.
 Ability to safely handle metal materials and components.
 Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
 Ability to read and follow basic production drawings and work instructions.
 Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
 Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
 Willingness to perform repetitive production tasks.
 Ability to lift and move metal materials safely.
 Commitment to workplace health and safety procedures.
 Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
