Duties
Monitor entrances and exits to authorize access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to oversee premises and detect suspicious activity
Perform routine patrols of the facility to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies with clear communication and appropriate action
Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings
Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to resolve issues effectively
Skills
Strong understanding of law enforcement principles and procedures
Proficiency in surveillance techniques and operation of CCTV systems
Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to deter theft and ensure asset security
Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing emergency situations confidently
Good communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred but not required
