Class 1 Truck Driver Wanted
Description
We are seeking reliable and experienced Company Truck Drivers to join our Long-haul Deck & Van division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries across Canada as well as the USA. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management. Candidates with over 2 years of verifiable experience will be highly valued to support various operational needs.
Duties:
Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes
Tarping may be required on some loads
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
Perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability
Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing freight
Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation activities
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
Qualifications:
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
2 Years experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related field preferred
Must possess a current US B1/B2 Visa
Must possess a Open work permit or are a Permanent resident
Strong understanding of Hours of Service in Canada & USA
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to schedules
