Looking to go to a Loving Home
We are looking for a loving, patient home for our sweet girl, who is approximately 2 years old. We adopted her from someone on OKz.ca, and she came to us carrying a lot of past trauma. Over the past year and several months, we've done everything we could to help her feel safe, loved, and build her confidence.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we've realized that we aren't able to provide the level of time and support she truly needs to continue thriving. Our hope is to find someone who can give her the patience, understanding, and love she deserves.
She is very fearful of men at first, although with time, patience, and consistency she does learn to trust them. We believe she would do best in a calm home with a single female owner who has the time to work with her and help her continue to grow.
She gets along well with other dogs. She does have some mild food guarding, so slow introductions and proper management are recommended. She is also still struggling with housetraining and often has difficulty going to the bathroom outside despite spending extended time outdoors.
We care deeply about finding the right home for her and want to ensure she's set up for success.
