Hi! I’m Sam!

I’m a handsome, short-haired gray/blue boy, and I’ll be turning 1 year old on August 31st!

My current family suspects I’m an Abyssinian but there isn’t anything documented to prove it. But I do have plenty of that classic Abyssinian energy, which means I’m full of personality and thrive on lots of playtime, attention, and fun enrichment activities!

I'm an adventurous, clever, and athletic guy who will make sure you always know when it's time to play. My mom says I’m like a greyhound in a cat’s body. I’ll bring you my favorite wand toy, tap your foot gently, and give you the cutest chirp to get your attention. I absolutely love blanket forts, trying to catch bugs on the other side of the window, and climbing up high on my cat trees.

While I’m not a typical lap cat, I am super sweet, curious, and love being right by your side. If you need company while having a bath, I’m your guy! When you’re on that Zoom meeting, I’m happy to help with any technical issues by walking across your keyboard and flicking my tail at camera. That always works! And my mom always laughs when I do that so I must be doing something right! And when you’re sleeping, I will take good care of your feet by sleeping on them and warming them up.

I show my love by bunting up against your cheek or chin, asking for back scritches, and sometimes even rolling over for gentle belly rubs. When it's time for a nap, I like to curl up into a little donut right against you on the couch. I love to chat - so much so I even chirp in my sleep! I also have the quietest, cutest snore apparently.

Here are a few important details about me and my care:

* My Vibe: I’m goofy, quirky, and very communicative. I need an experienced adopter who appreciates high-energy, food-motivated cats. I'm strictly an indoor-only guy. I would love a family with kids to play with me, as long as they know my boundaries - just because I’m on the small side, I’m not a toy! I’m fine to be home on my own, it I will be there to greet you when you get back!

* Other animals: Dogs scare me, so I need a dog-free home. Other than my buddy Jack, I would be better off as your only feline friend. Other cats don’t appreciate that I’m just a guy who likes a lot of your love and attention.

* New people: I may be shy at first and hide from you. Please don’t take it personally. With patience, I’ll settle quickly and be your best friend in no time!

* Dietary Needs: I have special dietary needs because I can't tolerate dry food (it makes me regurgitate), so I am on a wet food-only diet. I also love those creamy tube treats!

* Health & Basics: I will need regular tooth cleanings to keep my smile healthy. I am neutered, microchipped, fully up-to-date on shots, and 100% litter box trained. I have a clean bill of health that my parents will share with you.

I’m looking for a loving home that can keep up with my fun-loving spirit. And I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE if my buddy Jack could come too!

Hi, I’m Jack! I’m a young black-and-white tabby-tuxedo, and I turned 1 year old on March 27th.

I had a really rough start to life. My litter mates and I were abandoned during a scary situation, and by the time I was rescued, I was starving, skittish, and constantly worried about food. My two brothers bullied me a lot too - you can see some of the scratches on my nose. But I was checked by my vet and my nose is all healed. All of my brothers and sisters have found their forever families, and now I’m patiently waiting for mine!

Since coming to my current home, I’ve settled in so much. I've learned to relax around mealtime, and I’ve discovered just how fun life can be. When I feel like playing, I love chasing feather toys, running up and down the stairs after balls and large pom-poms, and playing with my cat foster siblings (I get along great with other cats! You can see me sleeping with my little buddy Sam, who is my favourite playmate!).

When I’m in a quiet mood, you can find me soaking up the sun by the window or snuggling up on your lap to give you sweet chin bunts. I'm generally a very quiet guy, though I'll occasionally give you a gentle little chirp to say hello.


Here are a few important things to know about me:

* My Vibe: I cuddle on my own terms and need an experienced adopter or family with older/no children who will respect my boundaries while I continue building confidence. “Love bombs” freak me out, so please make sure I’m ready for your love.

* No Dogs, Please: Canine friends scare me, so I need a dog-free home.

* Paws & Claws: I love to scratch! I’m still learning appropriate places to stretch my claws, so I’ll need gentle redirection. Nail clippers aren't my favorite thing yet, so my current parents have been using a fun sandpaper toy to help keep my nails trimmed down.

* Health & Basics: I’m neutered, microchipped, fully up-to-date on my shots, and 100% litter box trained. My parents will give you all the medical documentation from the veterinarian.


I’ve come such a long way, and I can’t wait to find a patient, loving forever family. Even better if my buddy Sam could come with me - we’ve become really close!
