‍ COOK WANTED – INDIAN & TANDOOR CUISINE

Clay Oven Tandoori Grill – Acton, Ontario

We are looking for an experienced Indian Food Cook / Tandoor Cook to join our restaurant team.

Requirements

* Experience cooking Indian food in a restaurant setting
* Strong experience with Tandoor
* Must know how to prepare Naan, Tandoori Chicken, Tikka, Kebabs and other tandoori items
* Knowledge of Indian curries, sauces and basic kitchen preparation
* Able to maintain consistent food quality and portion sizes
* Clean, organized and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen
* Reliable and punctual
* Food Handler Certificate is an asset

Main Duties

* Prepare and cook Indian dishes according to restaurant recipes
* Operate and maintain the tandoor safely
* Prepare naan and tandoori items
* Assist with food preparation, portioning and kitchen cleanliness
* Maintain food quality and hygiene standards

Experience: 1 year preferred
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Location: Acton, Ontario
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
