Small scale independantly owned scrap/ salvage hauler in Stonewall seeking full time helper.
Good morning. I run a scrap business/ small salvage yard in the Stonewall Industrial park. I do mostly farmyard/rural scrap collection. Clean up old farm machinery. vehicles, equipment almost entirely outside of Winnipeg.
I am looking for a full time asssistant that can begin working ASAP. Looking for someone that can drive, holds a basic class 5 license ( class 3 would be fantastic) and isn't afraid of being outdoors and can get their hands dirty. Someone that understands bugs exist, it can get hot or rain in the summer, and your head won't explode in a ball of flames if the occasional day runs longer than 8hrs. Guaranteed minimum 40 hrs a week, more if willing to actually work.
If you are someone that understands the concept of "dumpster diving", takes interest in shows like Canadian Pickers, gets the concept of upcycling and understands one man's junk can be another man's treasure.... I need you. For the right person this can easily be the most interesting job you will ever have.
Male or female welcome to apply, my best helper was a 5ft 2 city girl that sadly had to move on due to family issues. I don't seek experience, just the right personality and a willingness to learn. Not after a bull laborer, machinery and hydraulics do most of the lifting. If needed I can provide accomodations and offer a very decent wage.
